Donald the President

To DC

a media circus came

to see a deplorable president

and Donald was his name.

One dark day

his Twitter account went flat –

till after dark

in Gorky Park

where Putin hacked his chat –

oooooohhh

Donald the oligarch combed his quiff

and tickled the media circus:

off he went with a trumpety trump

trump trump trump –

Donald the oligarch combed his quiff

and ogled all like a mogul:

off he went with a trumpety trump

trump trump trump

Night by night

he played with the nuclear pile:

when Donald was testing the Tomahawks

he always raised a smile

No more polls

for Donald to confound:

he spoke each tweet with a goatish bleat

(his favourite kind of sound) –

Donald the oligarch combed his quiff

and tickled the media circus:

off he went with a trumpety trump

trump trump trump –

Donald the oligarch combed his quiff

and ogled all like a mogul:

off he went with a trumpety trump

trump trump trump

His policies were appalling:

childish, unfair –

he played with Vlad

in his Moscow pad

on an avenue by Red Square

Donald the president combed his quiff

and tickled the media circus:

off he went with a trumpety trump

trump trump trump –

Donald the president combed his quiff

and ogled all like a mogul:

off he went with a trumpety trump

trump

trump

trump

Donald the President

As the inauguration (20th January) looms, Donald Trump is having difficulty finding an entertainer to sing for him. May I suggest Mandy Miller, now 72 (apologies to her)?
