You only play dice
Or so it seems
One look at the price
And gamble your teams

Star drifts down the wing
To play the game,
One leg takes a swing –
The end of his fame

Fans dog in the manger
Will jeer when he's gone
Don't think of the danger
Take the money – move on

So off now to play
And don't forget
This cash could repay
The National Debt (swirl of violins)
