Gordon Brown Reminds Me Of A Bison

Gordon Brown reminds me of a bison –
A beast upon the plain, but full of power.
When he's out upon the stump,
He can sometimes get the hump
And even when he smiles, he's rather dour.

Gordon Brown reminds me of a bison –
Short of horn, and somehow pretty large.
When he tells a kind of joke
All his hooves go up in smoke,
And you sense he may be ready for a charge.

Gordon Brown reminds me of a bison –
A buffalo whose meat is often tender.
He may make a mark like Zorro
If you beg from him or borrow:
God help you if you are his latest lender.

Gordon Brown reminds me of a bison –
A shaggy bull whose grunt is rarely sweet:
When you see him on the prairie,
It may strike you that he's scary –
But he's very, very light upon his feet.

Yes, Gordon Brown reminds me of a bison –
And my aunt considers bisons rather chic.
When he gives a little bellow,
It can melt the heart to Jell-O –
But I wouldn't care to chase him up his creek.
